Returns & Refunds Policy – PerfectPools.co.za

We want you to be happy with your purchase. If something’s not right, we’ll do our best to sort it out. Here’s how returns, warranties, and refunds work:


Received a Damaged or Faulty Product?

No worries. If your item is faulty or damaged, just send us a WhatsApp message at 060 059 5670. We’ll help arrange the return and handle things from there.

Whether we repair, replace or refund depends on what the manufacturer finds after testing the product.


Warranty Details

All new products come with a 6-month warranty, unless otherwise stated. This is in line with the Consumer Protection Act of 2008.

  • If your item becomes faulty within the first 6 months, we’ll help you get it repaired, replaced, or refunded.

  • The final decision lies with the manufacturer or distributor, not the customer.

  • You’ll need to provide proof that the product is defective.

Within 7 days of delivery?
We’ll collect the item at no charge.

After 7 days (but still within warranty)?
You’ll need to send the product back to us (your cost), and we’ll cover the return delivery after repair/replacement—if it’s approved under warranty.

Repairs are done by the manufacturer. Typical timeframes:

  • Assessment: 2–5 working days

  • Repairs: 2–7 working days (depending on spare parts)

Repaired products are covered for the rest of the original warranty plus an extra 3 months.


Returns (Changed Your Mind or Ordered Wrong)

You can return most products within 7 days of delivery, as long as:

  • You’ve got your invoice or order number

  • The product is still in resellable condition

  • It’s not one of the non-returnable items below

Common Return Scenarios

What Happened What to Do
Wrong item delivered Let us know within 2 days – we’ll swap it or refund you.
You ordered the wrong item Contact us within 2 days. You’ll cover the collection cost.
Damaged on delivery Notify us within 2 days. We’ll replace/refund once checked.
Faulty product WhatsApp us right away – we’ll investigate and assist.
Late delivery, want to cancel No problem – just let us know and we’ll help arrange return.

Exchanges

Need to swap something? You’re welcome to:

  • Visit our pick-up point (by appointment), or

  • We’ll arrange collection (delivery fees may apply)


Changed Your Mind?

If you want to cancel your order or return something you no longer need:

  • You have 7 days from delivery to let us know.

  • The product must be unused and in original packaging.

  • You’ll cover the return shipping.

We’ll inspect the item before issuing a refund. Please note that handling, restocking, or initial shipping charges may apply.


Non-Returnable Items

Unless they arrived damaged or faulty, the following cannot be returned:

  • Custom or personalised products

  • Electrical parts (timers, transformers, capacitors, breakers, globes, etc.)

  • Items damaged by lightning, loadshedding, or power surges

  • Products misused or not used as per the instructions

  • Expirable or perishable products

  • Pool chemicals, filter sand, salt, marbelite, or pool paint


Refund Process

Once your return is approved:

  • Refunds are processed via EFT

  • It usually takes 24–48 hours to process, and another 24–48 hours to reflect

  • We might ask you to confirm your banking details or answer a few questions for security
